nomx-Scam: Everything Else Is Insecure

Show Sidebar

Scott Helme published a great weblog article about nomx which claims to be «the world's most secure communications protocol» and even better: «Everything else is insecure». It is about email communication.

I urge you to read the article in case you've got some technical background. In its way, it is fun.

As always, if anybody tells you that something is absolutely secure, this is a lie - deliberately lying or caused by poor knowledge on the subject.

TL;DR: the nomx box is horrible designed, does not work in many cases, runs old and insecure software components, can not be updated, includes backdoors, is prone to cross site scipting attacks, and so forth. In short: better not connect this device to anything else than a waste press.

This product is so bad, it can be considered as a total scam.
