You can do this either [[https://github.com/novoid/Memacs/blob/master/docs/memacs_twitter.org][via Memacs]] which requires to give Twitter your personal phone number. #+BEGIN_EXPORT html

@flowolf Looks great. Won't be used by me because I don't want to give @Twitter my phone number: https://t.co/DBXrBcYhmg

#+END_EXPORT Instead, I wrote a short Python script to convert [[https://support.twitter.com/articles/20170160#][the Twitter archive download]] into an Org-mode file: [[https://github.com/novoid/twitter-json_to_orgmode][twitter-json_to_orgmode]]. A couple years ago, this stopped working. When I requested the archive, I never got the email containing the download URL. Twitter support did not react and I could not find peers who had the same issue. Then mika gave a very good hint: #+BEGIN_EXPORT html

Change your mail address (and optionally change it back), should work then since it triggers validating your mail address

#+END_EXPORT So I changed my email address and now the emails containing the download URL of my data export works again.
